Who We Are.
At Oakridge, our mission is to love God, love people, and love serving.
Love God: We believe loving God means that we want Him to be glorified in all we do. We trust in Him and His Word, the Bible, as our foundation.
Love People: Loving one another is one of the greatest commands of Jesus. Oakridge is a church body made up of multi-generational believers. We seek to share His love and compassion by cultivating relationships within our church and beyond, building each other up in prayer, fellowship, and solid teaching.
Love Serving: Serving others is one of the fruits of a Christian life, and should be a part of every church. Oakridge encourages members to engage in a variety of ministries and events, and we will help you discover where you fit best. Whether you engage in a small Bible study group, or help with outreach events such as our Trunk-or-Treat, or the food pantry, there is a place for you.
Oakridge Community Church is affiliated with North American Baptist Conference (NAB) + North American Baptist Conference Great Lakes Association.
A Place to Serve.
Are you looking for a Biblically-solid, multi-generational church with an emphasis on serving and community outreach? We encourage you to visit Oakridge and find what you’re looking for. We are ready to welcome you and your family with open arms, and when you’re ready, there’s a place for you to plug in and use your God-given gifts and talents to serve.
A Place to Grow.
At Oakridge, we wholeheartedly believe that there is a discipleship process that every Believer takes part in as they learn and grow in their faith. We’ve taken the time to put together some information on the discipleship process below.
Scott Reeve
PASTOR
Pastor Scott is your go-to guy for straight-up, no-nonsense Bible teaching. He's all about digging into God's Word and helping you understand it in a way that's both meaningful and practical. He's got a passion for seeing people live out their faith in a way that reflects the love of Jesus.
When he's not preaching or counseling, you might find him hanging out with his family. He's got a big brood - four kids, two awesome daughter-in-laws, and three grandkids who are the absolute cutest. He's been leading Oakridge since 2014, and he's stoked to be a part of this awesome community.
Austin Eichhorst
youth PASTOR
Austin is a passionate youth pastor with a heart for connecting with young people. He's fueled by his love for the Bible and a deep-rooted mission to empower the next generation. Outside of ministry, you'll find him sipping on his favorite coffee, exploring new hobbies, or going rock climbing. His wife, Hannah, joins in on the fun, and comes alongside him in youth ministry.
Emily Boehm
CHURCH SECRETARY
Emily, one of our awesome church secretaries, isn't just good at paperwork - she's a total tech whiz! She loves taking pictures and making cool videos to share our church's stories. When she's not busy with church stuff, you might find her behind a camera, editing on her computer, or painting. Emily's tech skills help us connect with people in new and fun ways.
Sarah Reeve
CHURCH SECRETARY
Sarah is one of the smiling faces you may find in the church office, bringing a touch of design and digital magic to everything she does. When she's not crafting beautiful visuals or leading the worship team, you might find her kneading sourdough bread, hammocking or hiking on fair-weather days (and not-so fair-weather days too, let’s be honest), or tending to her flourishing garden.
Rick Hartwig
worship leader
Rick's got a heart for worship that's bigger than life. He loves bringing people together to sing praises to God and create a powerful atmosphere. He's always working on putting together worship sets that connect with the sermon and make you feel like you're right there with God.
When he's not leading worship, you might find him hanging out with his family. He's a dedicated husband and dad, and he's been a proud resident of St. Joseph for a long time.
